Ambrosha and Thomas, both from Brighton, Colorado, have known each other since their freshman year of high school. She was dating his best friend at the time and after that ended they all went to separate schools. The two of them continued to keep in touch and eventually found themselves dating. After 6-months, Ambrosha called it quits and subsequently broke Thomas’ heart. They took a year off and during that time did not speak at all. Ambrosha focused on herself, on college and on her future career. After that year apart, Ambrosha knew there was only one thing missing from her life, and that was Thomas. Four years later, they find themselves here: on the beautiful island of Maui saying I Do in front of a small group of family and friends at the romantic, oceanfront Kukahiko Estate!
The bride and groom wanted a simple and relaxed day at a beautiful, oceanfront private estate so the Kukahiko Estate was the perfect choice for their intimate affair. An easy-going day with a few rustic touches is all that the couple asked for. We think after looking through the images below, courtesy of Dmitri and Sandra Photography, you’ll agree that their day was all of that and more. We loved the bride’s request for dark, moody colors mixed with touches of white and greenery. Their reception at Gannon’s Wailea followed with a beautifully set table for an intimate dinner under the stars.
We absolutely loved working with this couple and are so grateful that they chose Makena Weddings as their Maui Wedding Planner! Mahalo Ambrosha and Thomas, we wish you a lifetime of love and Aloha from all of us at Makena Weddings!
