Courtnee and Michael fell in love with Hawaii while visiting the island together on vacation so it made perfect sense to them to return to this beautiful island to get married and enjoy the island with their families. They dreamed of having a simple wedding in a gorgeous, oceanfront setting for a ceremony only, so the Kukahiko Estate was the perfect choice. They said I Do under a beautiful driftwood arch, decorated with touches of Pantone’s 2019 Color of the Year, Living Coral. Coral is such an amazing color for weddings here in Maui, it is definitely a shade that will never go out of style. The bride’s breathtaking bouquet also had touches of Living Coral, along with a few succulents and a touch of something blue.
After their ceremony, the couple opted to enjoy their reception dinner at a local restaurant instead of at their wedding location. With just a handful of guests in attendance, their family photos were completed rather swiftly and the couple had enough time to enjoy the property with their photographer, Dmitri and Sandra, until the sun went down.
There are so many different ways to enjoy a wedding here on Maui but one of the perks of having an intimate celebration, such as this one, is having the extra time with your photographers, without having to worry about rushing back to your reception to mingle with your guests. Courtnee and Michael were able to relax and enjoy all of the beauty of the Kukahiko Estate, and as you’ll see below, their romantic Maui wedding photos are absolutely stunning!
