There is just something about a colorful Maui wedding that gets us every time. There are so many different ways to do a tropical wedding here on Maui; Shauna & Jeff opted for the bright colorful route and we were absolutely thrilled to bring their tropical Maui wedding dream come true!
The Kukahiko Estate in Makena offered the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous affair, with the bright blue color of the ocean in the background, the bright tropical floral decor in their wedding arch really created that wow factor that they were looking for. Country Bouquets Maui created a fabulous tropical flower decor look with bright pink ginger flowers mixed with deep purple orchids, pink King Protea, mixed in with some green cymbidium orchids and lush greenery. The bride carried an incredible bouquet in the same gorgeous flowers and the groom wore a purple orchid boutonniere. As they said I Do at this gorgeous oceanfront estate, their tight knit group of family and friends surrounded them with so much love, it was palpable.
When we start the planning process with our couples we always make sure to ask how they met, we absolutely love hearing how each couple’s love story began. The bride shares:
Their reception followed at Gannon’s Wailea with a beautiful long table set with purple orchid plants and personalized menus set atop huge monstera leaves creatively used in place of chargers. A deep purple orchid was set at each place setting which made for a perfect way to welcome each guest to dinner.
Their entire day was pure magic, from beginning to end and we are so excited to share it with you below. Oh, and did we mention that there were whales!? Yes, you will see humpback whales breaching and playing in the background of their romantic sunset images, to top off an already amazing day! We know you’re going to love this one!!
